During meetings held on the last Monday of every month, Ação em debate addresses issues related to human rights agendas, in tune with the highlights of the conjuncture.
The project began in 2014 within the context of the celebration of Ação Educativa’s 20th anniversary and is part of the training processes of our organization.
The debates have already dealt with the right to the city, social and environmental agenda, the role of the media, school reorganization and education in the state of São Paulo, reduction of the age for criminal responsibility, Brazilian economic policy, police demilitarization, immigration in Brazil, World Cup, 50th anniversary of the Military coup, among others.
Currently, the initiative takes place in partnership with the School of Government, an organization that conducts training in public management, participatory democracy, human rights and ethics in politics.
