Agenda Cultural da Periferia (Outskirts Cultural Program)

One of the main publications by Ação Educativa, Agenda Cultural da Periferia was created in 2007 to meet a demand of cultural movements operating in the outskirts of the Metropolitan Region of São Paulo: the absence of spaces for dissemination in conventional cultural guides.

Since then, other spaces have emerged, but the Agenda Cultural da Periferia remains the only printed material specialized in peripheral cultural production. During these nine years, we have reached the mark of 1 million copies distributed, with almost 10,000 events and 50,000 artists publicized.

In addition to its presence in social networks, a program on the Heliopolis Community FM Radio, which has been aired for five years, every Tuesday, completes this network focused on the peripheral cultural circuit.
