The Educação e Relações Raciais Collection: by believing on the participation of the school community, it aims to contribute to the construction of participatory self-assessment processes on the implementation of Law 10.369 / 2003 in schools.
Its goal is for the school community to broaden the circle of people and collectives involved in overcoming racism and other forms of discrimination and to build a strategic action plan that generates effective transformations in everyday school life.
The proposal also aims at recognizing, potentializing and articulating actions already developed by schools, education secretariats, universities and groups of civil society organizations aimed at promoting anti-racist and non-discriminatory education.
The collection was developed from the work with schools, from the dialogue with international and national experiences of education of ethnic-racial relations, especially those developed by organizations linked to the Brazilian black movement, and with other educational experiences committed to the affirmation of human rights. It is composed of five materials, which can be used together or separately at different times and spaces of school life.
