Result of the formative process of young people who took part in the JADIG project (Young Agents for Gender Equality in the School), this publication addresses the debate around the agendas of gender, diversity and sexuality, aimed at public high schools.
The material was formulated from questions and demands raised in the original schools of young women in the last year (in the neighborhoods of São Paulo: Sapopemba, São Mateus and Itaquera), including the process of occupying schools in Sapopemba, when many of these issues gained greater visibility. One of the young participants also held informal processes of dialogue at the technical school where she is currently studying (ETEC Sapopemba).
The publication has a content that mixes information on the gender subject and real experiences lived in the school environment with a more direct and informal language. It brings texts by these young women and the team discussing models of masculinity and femininity, sexual orientation, chauvinism, feminism, homophobia and transphobia, among other issues.
