This publication is part of the project “Segura Essa Ideia: Jovens Articuladores pelo Direito à Segurança (JADS)”, which aimed to produce reflections and recommendations to deal, in a participatory manner, with the theme of public safety and violence against youth, involving young people, students, teachers and families from the region of São Mateus and Sapopemba (São Paulo).

As a result of a partnership between Instituto Moreira Salles and Ação Educativa, “Território Consolação” is a project that seeks to (re)know the cultural and economic potential of the central area of ​​the city of São Paulo, as well as to map and stimulate collaboration between cultural agents Cultural, independent collectives, creative enterprises, private institutions and public facilities.

After one year of approving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the definitions on the indicators that will monitor the fulfillment of the 169 goals that comprise the 17 Objectives, it is necessary to follow the process of implementing Agenda 2030.

As a result of the self-organized activity carried out in the framework of the World Social Forum 2016, this publication presents analyses on the perspectives of the left in different countries of the region.

There are 18 articles, some already published in the mainstream media and others written especially for this edition. Under various approaches, the articles assembled clearly expose the authoritarian nature of a movement that hides its own ideology in an attempt to silence divergent worldviews.

Result of the formative process of young people who took part in the JADIG project (Young Agents for Gender Equality in the School), this publication addresses the debate around the agendas of gender, diversity and sexuality, aimed at public high schools.

The dossier organized for this issue consists of eight articles produced by a group of researchers that systematized practices of non-school education of young people and adults in different parts of the country and an analytical article, by two Latin American researchers, on the use of reporting for the systematization of practices.

This material contains guidelines on forms of threats by groups opposed to the gender debate in schools and strategies on how to address them.
